Plainfield appoints officials, sets 2026 salaries, establishes meeting schedule

NY PLAINFIELD — Plainfield town board completes annual organizational business with multiple appointments and salary approvals. The board appointed Larraine McNulty as historian, Alicia Jones as dog control officer, and Crystal Ferguson as health officer, with John McNulty named planning board chairman. Jon Cockett was assigned budget officer and registrar of vital statistics duties, Jeff Maine as land use administrator.

Highway department wages were set at $27.32 per hour, reflecting a three percent increase, with the deputy highway superintendent at $27.82 per hour. The board established regular meetings for 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month.
